Story of a dream, a documentary film by Mariana Vinoles and Stefano Tononi, Cronopio film, Uruguay, 94’ (2005).

 October, 2004. Uruguay.

 Mariana returns to her country after three years. She returns to find her family but she also returns to vote. After an economic crisis that plunged the country into terrible misery, Uruguay is now on the eve of change. Through the daily reality of a small city in the interior of the country and in the intimacy of a militant family, we discover a Latin American town during a month before a historic political change: the triumph of a leftist force, the "Frente Amplio".
